It's bad enough trying to find a good reliable builder in the UK. The prospect of finding one in Spain, having recently bought a place here, was daunting. However, as luck would have it our new neighbours had a garage built some years ago by ALMERIA BUILDERS and they recommended them to us.

We have now had two projects carried out by ALMERIA BUILDERS. Overall we are more than delighted with the work carried out. Joe, the proprietor of ALMERIA BUILDERS, is very easy going and it has been a pleasure dealing with him. He has given us his honest opinion on our proposals and we took on board his recommendations.

To cut the long story short; ALMERIA BUILDERS are a firm who are trustworthy and honest as are the labourers employed.

We would wholehearted recommend ALMERIA BUILDERS, as we have already done so to friends who are equally happy. Indeed, we would go so far to say that Joe has become a firm friend who is always at the end of the phone should a problem in the property arise. We are more than happy for any potential clients to visit us to view the work undertaken.

One word of warning; engage them early as they always have plenty of work on, doesn’t that tell you something?

The work that I have had done from ALMERIA BUILDERS has been excellent, I had the swimming pool fully re-tiled, the work which was done by Joe's workmen could not be faulted. A gate outside where the stance had come away which meant I could not close the gate, leaving me very vulnerable and was taken away within hours of me speaking to Joe and repaired.

We used ALMERIA BUILDERS for two jobs completed concurrently, repairs to a pool and a house roof. They arrived on time, worked continuously, kept everything clean and tidy, jobs completed 100% - can't tell they were ever here! Would definitely use again and would recommend for any building work/repairs needed.

We bought a cortijo, in the hills above Albox a couple of years ago, and initially thought it needed some minor touching up. Initially we needed shade, so we approached ALMERIA BUILDERS (after hearing a lot of positive reports) to quote for an external patio roof. The team were very responsive and Joseph came to up to quote (and added valuable design insights which we hadn't thought of) for the job very quickly. They did the work extremely well and we are very happy with the outcome.

Subsequently we found that we needed some major work i.e. roof replacement. So we talked to ALMERIA BUILDERS again for the work as we were so happy with the previous job. Again, Joseph and the team estimated quickly and started the work when they said they would (a novelty for Spain I now understand), and his team of builders worked liked Trojans (even during those ridiculously high winds we've had recently) to get the job done. The result is brilliant! The 1st of the new roofs looks great and our internal design requirements were comfortably surpassed (internal barrel ceiling, creation of dressing room and complete rebuild of en-suite).

I have used ALMERIA BUILDERS several times over the past few years and the quality of the workmanship has been second to none.

They are an extremely professional company and no job is too big or too small. I would highly recommend them.
